I charge by the hour. Contact me with a brief for a one-off task and I will let you know how long I think it will take me based on previous experience of doing similar work. If it takes me less time, then I’ll let you know and reduce the fee. If it takes me longer then I’ll honour the original cost quoted. |
Retainer |

If you are looking for a virtual author assistant for a set number of hours per week, I take on regular clients and will progress tasks each week as instructed / agreed in advance. If any work goes over the allotted time, I will pause and let you know. Either I wait to complete the work the following week or you can ‘top up’ by paying the extra hours it will take me to finish. |

My hourly rate for project and retainer work is the same and varies depending on the work involved. Admin, implementation (e.g. scheduling pre-written social media posts), desktop research etc. £20 / $30 per hour Basic graphic design. (Please note, I do not design front covers) £25 / $38 per hour Copywriting e.g. emails, advert copy, social media posts, blogs, website. £30 / $45 per hour Consultancy / advice, marketing and content strategy, planning (e.g. segmenting audiences for Facebook advertising). £35 / $53 per hour For copy editing and proofreading I charge £0.008 / $0.011 per word. I will send you an invoice once the brief and deliverables have been mutually agreed. I’m based in the UK and charge in GBP (if you are based in the UK) or USD (if you are international). Payment is due before I start work and paid via bank transfer (if you are in UK) or PayPal (if you are international). |
